Folk remedies for alcoholism

Folk remedies are one of the cheapest options for treating alcoholism. Its effectiveness has been proven by many examples from life, even in cases where traditional medicine does not give the desired results.

Consider the most effective folk remedies for drunkenness.

Chemerichnaya water

To treat chronic alcoholism, people often use hellebore (also called a puppeteer).

Pour a tablespoon of the crushed root of a plant with half a glass of boiling water, after an hour, strain thoroughly, add boiling water to the original volume (up to half a glass). Store the cooled infusion in the refrigerator. Add fifteen drops to half a liter of vodka, shake well and give to drink. After that, the patient begins to vomit. In this way, the need for drunkenness disappears in a relatively short time and an aversion to alcoholic beverages generally develops. Chemerichnyj water can also be added to food and drinks (tea, compote): five drops three times a day.

castor oil

A very dubious method that was once used by doctors. It consisted in pouring castor oil (literally a horse dose) down the "sick person" 's throat. There is no evidence that castor oil is the cure for drunkenness. Apparently, the effects of castor oil were based on efforts to contain its laxative effects clearing the patient's mind.

Darling

The use of honey in the treatment of alcohol addiction is based on the fact that, according to folk medicine, attraction to vodka develops due to a lack of potassium in the body. The use of honey only compensates for this deficiency, so the desire to drink gradually diminishes.

For an hour, every twenty minutes, the patient is given six teaspoons of honey (in just one hour, so 18 teaspoons), then a break of two hours and the process is repeated. On the following days, before and after breakfast, give six teaspoons of honey. Treatment with honey is carried out within 3-4 days. Rejection of alcohol occurs. Although not clinically proven, it is obvious that this method maintains and strengthens health - and thus frees you from "alcohol chains".

In addition to honey itself, a beekeeping product such as bee bread (bee bread) is used in alternative medicine to treat addiction. A mixture of a teaspoon of bees bread and a teaspoon of honey is taken half an hour before meals (do not swallow, keep on your tongue and gradually dissolve). Reception is repeated three times a day, the effect is felt on the second or third day of treatment. For prevention, the treatment is repeated three times a week. This method reduces the risk of psychological trauma when abstaining from alcohol, improves blood flow to the brain, helps cleanse the liver of toxins, and leads to the abandonment of alcohol.

Honey against alcoholism

The initial stage of alcoholism is treated with bee stings: fifteen live healing bees are placed on the body, gently pressed down, and after five minutes the stings are removed. The bites only seem painful at the beginning of treatment. This method is not suitable for allergy sufferers.

Clefthoof

Clefthoof (European Clefthoof, also called a hernia) in the treatment of alcoholism is used in the form of a decoction. It is prepared like this: pour a teaspoon of the hernia root with a glass of hot boiling water, boil for five minutes on low heat, close the lid and leave for another hour. Add the infusion to vodka in the amount of one tablespoon per 100 g of alcohol, or take one tablespoon every day. Due to the poisonousness of the Clefthoof, it causes vomiting. Treatment is carried out until a persistent aversion to alcohol is formed.

Reception of such a decoction is contraindicated in patients with angina, as well as in pregnant women.

There is also such a way of ingesting Clefthoof as adding the plant's powder to coffee (add a quarter teaspoon of Clefthoof powder to fifty grams of coffee, repeat after a few days). The effect is the same: when drinking alcohol, vomiting occurs and in the end there is complete disgust for alcohol.

thyme

Thyme (also known as thyme, also known as creeping thyme) has long been used to treat alcoholism, including in herbal teas and herbal supplements. For example, mix 4 parts thyme, 1 part centaury and 1 part wormwood. A tablespoon of this collection is poured with a glass of boiling water, insisted for an hour, filtered and taken in 1-2 tablespoons twenty minutes before meals.

Thyme helps relieve alcohol poisoning, causes sobriety, and then a complete cure.

Another herbal recipe for treating alcoholism is yarrow (St. John's wort), bitter wormwood, thyme, angelica, peppermint, and juniper. A mixture of herbs (spoon) is poured over a liter of boiling water and allowed to steep for ten minutes. After drinking this tea, kidney function and sweating increase, the tremors stop, alcohol breakdown products are naturally eliminated from the body. A similar herbal tea is made from a mixture of thyme, horsetail, lovage (grass), juniper berries, cyanosis root. Herbal teas are a gentle drinking regimen.

Dung mushroom

Dung beetle mushroom is a unique, time-tested healing potion that you can use to get rid of drunkenness. Mushrooms are prepared in the traditional way: boiled, fried, stewed, baked. They taste like mushrooms and are not suspicious. When the fungus enters the body, the breakdown of alcohol in the blood slows down, and severe poisoning begins. Over time, after several "sessions", there is a persistent constant aversion to alcohol.

baking powder

Baking soda is not used as a medicine, it is used as a means of relieving, relieving symptoms, and getting rid of alcohol poisoning. For 180 ml of warm water, you need to take a teaspoon (without a slide) of baking soda and drink it. Depending on the degree of intoxication, up to one liter of such a solution can be required to flush the body of toxins and completely cleanse it. Vomiting after drinking the solution will prevent toxins from being absorbed into the bloodstream, and the condition will improve. Under the influence of carbon dioxide in the stomach, the production of gastric juice is accelerated, which also helps to neutralize toxins.

Bay leaves

Bay leaf is widely known as a remedy that reliably cures alcoholism. Two bay leaves are infused in 250 ml of vodka in a warm place for two weeks (for reasons of efficiency, you can add bay or lovage root); then take 2-3 tablespoons before meals. Laurel tincture causes indigestion and vomiting, which prevents an alcoholic from drinking forever. Reception course: daily for 7-10 days.

There are a few more bay leaf recipes. So, 12 grams of lavrushka should be steamed with boiling water (one and a half glasses), brought to a boil and simmered for 10-15 minutes. Drink the broth during the day.

Baranets

Ram (this is another name for club-shaped lyre) is a low-growing creeping shrub found in our forests. This plant has long been used to treat alcoholics. Branches of ram in the amount of 10 g are poured with a glass of boiling water and boiled over low heat for 15 minutes. The broth is used in an amount of two tablespoons at a time with alcohol. Ingestion of the broth leads to nausea and vomiting, after 3-4 receptions the craving for alcohol permanently decreases.

A prerequisite for treatment with a decoction of Aries is an alcohol break of at least 4 days. Since the plant is poisonous, the dosage must be strictly adhered to. In addition, the herb is contraindicated in diseases of the thyroid gland, diabetes, high blood pressure, pulmonary tuberculosis, bronchial asthma, gastric ulcers.

When treating with folk remedies, it should be remembered that, despite numerous positive reviews, herbs are by no means harmless, but can have side effects and contraindications. And if you really are going for home treatment, you need to consider the patient's health, risk of neuropathy, and a tendency to develop allergies. The main thing is not to harm! We recommend that you seek advice from a narcologist.
